I'd be questioning this 4 and a half gig install but since it's MGS4 i'm sure that 4.5 will be VERY useful. I guess i'll have to delete the DMC4 install on my 60 giger (i'm too lazy/cheap to buy a 120 gig hdd for $80).
I was turned off by the new look of the game but it's kind of grew on me, specially since i heard that it's going to put more emphasis on platforming and less on enemies. And having the enemies you do encounter be like mini bosses. Sounds impressive.
Agree. I liked Assassins Creed alot i won't lie. And i like Splinter Cell but i didn't want Assassins Creed in my Splinter Cell which looked like how SC was heading. It sounded/looked like AssCreed with a Splinter Cell coat of paint on it and it was letting me down. Now after hearing this i have some faith in the next SC game.
I'm soooooo SOLD about this MK. Many others probably aren't but i'am.
I didn't know she appeared in SC3 (i skipped that one because i was still playing SC2). How does she play? Slow paced or more fast?
It's since it's the weekend and almost anything is passable as a read since nothing big ever comes out of the weekends for gaming news.
Voldo is one of the more tricky characters like Yoshimitsu i use Voldo myself. Though the new chick Setsuna looks interesting to use with the umbrella with a sword concealed.
I know the exclusives for both sides look pretty good but so does the multiplatform titles. With SF4, Brutal Legend, Soul Calibur 4, Alone in the Dark, Silent Hill and a little game called Fallout 3 coming out all before the end of the year. That coupled with both systems respective exclusive titles this is shaping up for another great year in gaming.
It could have been more funnier. Though the "disguise your voice as a hot japanese schoolgirl" part was funny. Though my gripes with GTA is the cover system is flawed and the aiming is still clunky and it's hard as hell to free aim. Also the ending. It was underwelming. It should have ended a mission or two earlier (the guys that finished it should know what part i'm talking about).
What pray tell would be the other half? Renting movies/shows? Costume soundtracks? Because that's about everything i can think of.
I'm frankly quite tired of these videos what exactly do they prove? That things are coming soon? I'm ready to hang it all up and just wait till the damn thing gets released and lay low and play some GTA4 or CoD4 online.
That's why, and to be honest i wasn't much interested in BIOSHOCK until people started comparing it with my beloved Deus Ex. I'm/was far more interested in Mass Effect. But i believe when i have the funds i'll pick up a 360.
Is NOT a minimal install specially if there's people with the launch 20 gig ps3's or the people with the 40 gig ps3's and they already own DMC4.
Every company says that. "We don't have anything announced" in other words officially (as in what the public knows) we haven't said anything about it happening yet. Look at the despairity between how they commented on things and how say EPIC commented on the Gears of War to Ps3 thing.
Just giving a example.
Awww i was hoping Rat Race comes out this year (some episodic gaming about crazy office workers).
I'll agree with you on the over charging of Blu-Ray. But the other stuff you're sprouting off about i don't agree with you. I don't think the 360 is the Ps2 of last gen. Sales wise or games wise. The 360 has had a few nice exclusives (BIOSHOCK, Mass Effect, Gears) but besides that everything else has been multiplatform. Orange Box, GTA4, Oblivion etc. Also you say people are too stupid to know where to go where the games are. I'd have to say you're small minded to think that people didn't kno...
I played all the games on that list except Shinobi (ps2 version) and Ikaruga. DMC3 wasn't that hard i beat it on hard mode. I really need to get Ninja Gaiden as well. I played the demo and i liked it alot.
This is a good move for Sega, maybe they can stop having to borrow money now make a strong comeback.
I find it funny that all 3 consoles have their own regions which butters their bread the most. Japan for Wii, America for 360 and Europe for Ps3. Pretty interesting to me.
I feel the exact same way as you. No Akuma=no sale for me. SF2 cast is good but i've grown to know and love the Street Fighter 3 cast more and since not one of them has been revealed as playable in SF4 (without being DLC) Akuma is the only one remaining that i use actively.
